@Ramona: Yes, that is because in the last update of Pixelmator they added .abr compatibility, so this method is no longer needed.

I tried Omniweb, but don’t really see what it has that Safari doesn’t. I have a sidebar with thumbnails in Safari too - I think it’s a plugin. But the big downfall for me is that Omniweb isn’t compatible with 1Password.

That’s because I never said “transfer to the title”
In the title bar of your image (where it has the red, yellow, and green buttons to change the size of the window), there is a little icon in front of your image’s name. Drag that icon onto the brushes palette.

OK, sorry about the triple comments. It turns out that I didn’t even need your workflows. =) There is an open source program for Windows called ABRViewer that I used to batch convert all my .abr sets into .pngs. It kept them transparent so it isn’t even necessary to run a Mask to Alpha for Pixelmator. I can drag and drop them to make brushes as I need without any further processes involved. *whew

I agree with you about the brush sets - hopefully they will add that functionality soon, along with layer groups
